Driver side window will go down if i push down on it. WHatts up with that. I do i get rid of this and ensure lockage.

 

it could be off track mine did that and ur motor and contacts r probly dirty and that doesnt help and also i cleaned and greased my gears and that helped.

 

it's your velvets or your tracks. The rubber things with velvet inside them that the window rols in. After time they get bent up. You need new ones. that and lube up the joints on the frame that holds the window.

 

well i have a manual window adjustment you know the HANDLE and Pump MOtion kind of thing . SO the window is cool it goes up and down no problem. Just that i can roll the window up and then close the door put some pressure on the window and coax it down. My friend said i could tighten the handle or something like that but i think he might be talkin out his ***. ??

 

yeah i think hes talking out of his ***. you would only have to tighten the handle if the handle was spinning in the gear itself. Im having some problems with both my windows. I wish i could get ahold of two new tracks. My window rolls all the way up on one edge and doesnt the other side, if try to roll it up any further, it actually sticks outside the door and doesnt seal at all. Its pissing me off because its winter and ******* cold, my car is never warm. Not to hijack but if the base of the window is stuck the window then will it not allow the window to level when it reaches the top?
