Side Skirts

What do you guys think of adding the side skirts off a 2001 mazda mpv? I think that they could be adapted to fit the first gen. It even looks like it will fit over that little ripple at the bottom of the car.

Your thoughts...

I'll try and find a pic with the skirts.

In that picture is that car even driveable? Damn seems like you wouldnt even be able to turn the wheels, seems like it would rub the inner wheelhouse or tear the fender off...

Rx-7's are low enough w/o all that.. The side skirts look pretty neat, i used to have a set of them too, but just like everything else I couldnt find them if I wanted to

My car was actually that low to the ground and the only problem I had was over speed bumps and some driveways other then that it was fine.

Hell no! You'll notice there's no shadow at the top of the rims under the wheel flares. Big time doctored rice-o-matic photo...

It's show and tell time, historia...scan a photo of yer ride and post it. This particular photo has already been debunked last year some time in this very Forum. If you look closely in the reflection, you can also see the words "gotta get a V8!" written in sanscrit....

And where does it say "gotta get a V-8 in sancrit" That's my neighbor's house? My Rx7 is not that low at the momment but, I've seen Historia's car, and hers is just as low!! I'll attach close up picture.

you can spot it as a fake because if you actually lowered the car on the bottom enough to match the car on the top it would bottom out the whole car before it matched up.

Id love to get me some side skirts along with a front. I actually like the KAMINARI ones. I just need to lift my car up a little before I do that.

Treceb... your car looks wicked.... the rims suit the car really nice, the side skirts by kaminari are nice but I was told that it only comes as a full kit.

Come spring, just for you guys I'll drop the car to it's maxium... Take take some pictures. visit www.groundcontrol.com and you and put your 7 at any height.

Currently at this height I can do everything, driveways, speedbumps... and no rubbing. I don't understand how 13's can rub? I know that non-se's have a different suspension, but I'm not sure how different. My wheels have a 40 offset.
