side mirror bolt sizes

My side mirror was loose so I took it apart to tighten it. It looks like someone tried before me and didn't realize that they had to take more of the mount apart to get at the bolts that mount to the door. I was able to remove all the bolts, but they are stripped enough that I'd like to replace them all. Does anyone know the sizes for all of them or know where I should look for that info. I checked the service manual chapter about the car body, but there was nothing about the mirrors.

Thanks.

I think they are M6. I'd use stainless.

Ok. Thanks. One of the bolts in the mount is a little rusty so stainless is a good idea. The nut inside isn't going to fall into the door if I take those out is it?

I'm not sure about the nut falling. I don't think it captured so can't say for sure.

They did not fall. And they were M5 x 16. The selection of SS metric screws at Lowe's was poorly stocked, but I was able to check them all against regular screws. I'm going to order the stainless ones on Amazon.

2 oval phillips machine, 2 pan phillips machine, and 2 flat phillips machine.

I'm just putting this in here in case anyone searches for this in the future.
