Question Side Housing questions

I've been looking around for a more cost-effective way to get my side housings lapped without sending them to racing beat. I called up a place called Rotorsports Racing thats close by. They told me that what they preferred is to blanchard grind the housing using a very fine stone. I am very skeptical of this and need info on if anybody has done this personally or knows anything else. Help!

From past Reading, Rotorsports comes highly recomended. Ask about them in SE forum.

On the Lapping I have no clue.

as long as the side housings are not warped/scratched, and are clean, there is no need to lap them.
