I am putting my intake manifold back together ( I had taken everything out of it) and was wondering if the shutter valve is supposed to be fully open. Also is it normal for the valve not to fully close? I've been working in my spare time to resurrect my dad's 82 that's been sitting in the garage for 10 years(!). Hopefully i can put it together very soon. Any help would be apprectiated.
