Ok, the title is kinda gay, but I took some pics of my car the other day after installing a FC spoiler, and the one looks like a showdown at high noon between the FB and dads IROC. Thought both the spoiler install and this pic came out nice, figured I'd share.

Looks better than I imagined. Did you paint your car panda Trueno style or did you buy it like that. +1 for more pics, I want to see how panda Trueno looks on a FB.

Yea, I did the paint job, used the correct Toyota colors too. and just so you guys don't think I'm some initial D ricer I'm posting a pic of what the car looked like a couple years ago. Saved it from a junkyard, tore it all apart (see pic) seam welded the whole thing, fixed the numerous rust spots (new metal, lots of welding) and put it all back together. Also attached is a pic of the interior.

You have obviously put alot of love into that car, you get the stamp of approval from me because you got the area around the wheel wells correct. Get some mesh wheels now.

edit. today is my one year anniversary to the club. time flys and with 449 post counts thats amazing. didnt even realize how much i posted here and recieved so much more help in return. thanks a lot! may there be many years to come of my stay here on the forums!

Thanks guys and drift FB I spent hours researching the panda scheme looking at as many different ae86's as I could to make sure I was getting it as close as I could, there are some subtlties about the scheme that a lot of people don't notice at first, like as you said the area around the wheel well. And yea I put a lot of love into that car, but its not over yet, I've been driving it since February, and restoring my other 83 but as soon as that one is done this one becomes a project again, 13bt time! just need some more parts and I'm set to go with that.

bravo on bringing it back from the dead. the "Panda" paint scheme kind of breaks up the lines of the car. Personally i'd like to see it black up to the bottom of the detail line and white above that. The black stripe is a distraction in the middle of the car that isn't needed.
Besides that one gripe, damn clean man. I agree that you need some aftermarket wheels to set it off. Good job.
Question: How many hours do you have into the resto?

Thats' the last of my projects to do on my 84.
2 tone ie Panda Look.
My paint still looks like the day it was rolled off the assembly line, so it's kinda of hard to do this change even tho everyone says to go your way with the exception of the Stripe.

Terrified.
Your car looks amazingly great. And I definitely love the look of that spoiler on the back as well. I am really curious as to how you got it to fit. I wouldn't mind going that route if I ever decide to put a spoiler on my car.

it has nothing to do with initial d.... the toyota line up came like that since 1983.... the initial d cartoon was made in 1999-2000 i think ....
+ i think it fits the FB really nicely !!!!

Thanks for the compliments guys, I appreciate them. I figured the panda scheme wasn't gonna be everyone's thing, but I'm surprised how many of you like it, I know I do. As for the spoiler, I didn't have to change the dimensions at all, the width is almost perfect. I filled in the antenna hole (I have no antenna, and its on the other side on a FC anyway) and smoothed out the bump on the side of the spoiler (again part of the antenna provisions) Other than that I basically just drilled a few holes in the car and on it went. Now if i were to do it again I would take some extra time and modify the mounting surface of the spoiler to follow the angles of the FB a little more. The back of an FC is much flatter, so putting the flat based spoiler on the curved FB body left some gaps around the edges, hardly noticable, but present nonetheless. I hope that made sense. Good luck to those who want to mount one on their car.
