Should I or shouldn't I?

My RB springs just arrived today. My new shocks/struts will be along shortly. My LSD/disc brake rearend was supposed to be here last Friday, but DHL licks the sweat from my ***** and has not yet delivered it.

So, needless to say, most of the suspension is going to be taken apart.

Should I change to polyurethane bushings at that time? If so, which ones do I need to do the job? I emailed Mazdatrix about a month ago on this issue, and they never bothered to get back to me. There's so damn many kits, I don't know which ones to get. If polyurethane isn't the best idea, what other options are out there?

Discuss.

I got a complete kit from suspension restoration. Great stuff and quick shipping. There webpage does not show a master kit, but if you call them they will put it together for you. Oh, works awesome.

Poly should be fine as long as you don't do the watts link in poly if I remember correctly.

I redid my other rex (crx) with poly and it made a much tighter car. I picked and chose which ones I swaped out though. Anything that needs to twist in more then two directions probably shouldn't have poly in them.

Every one except the rear upper control arms, replace those with oem. That seems to be the general consensus with the IT7 and E-Production guys. I replaced all of mine, but I haven't autocrossed or roadraced the car.

It is a very stiff, nimble little bitch. I also have springs, adjustable shocks and heavier sway bars. Whether I shouldn't have used the poly's in the upper links or not, I don't know.

My house is going to look like Christmas this week, just with no tree.

Here's what's arriving in the next week:

RB exhaust (the good one.)
RB springs
Tokicko shocks/struts
Holley Carb and manifold
15 x 7 Enkeis
Black seatbelts
Glass moonroof

Hmm... Have I forgotten anything?

More grey suede for the interior.

Then, she goes for paint. And, I'm spent.

I actually haven't spent as much as you'd think. I've been finding deals here and there, getting stuff on Ebay... If I bought everything I've bought at full price, I'd be into it for about $5000 right now... I'd say I'm right around $2800.

I wish I could say the same for my widebody. I'm past 5k and the only outside work done was setting the fixed glass and the window tint. Keep up the good work.

Oh, and my LSD/disc brake rear end should be here tomorrow, too.

UPS screwed up and brought me 1 of my 2 RB boxes... So, I have the center section of my SP exhaust, but no header, no muffler, and no springs.

Well, when you're done with college, work a full-time job like mine where you barely have time to work on your car, you can afford all the parts, then they can sit around like mine do.
