Should I remove my pin strips on the hood?

I was wondering if I should leave the pin strips on the hood or not... I will leave the ones on the body. Please let me know, thanks!

Oh, the red one is mine and the white is my brother's [justint5387].

Though they are a little wider than I would put on, they don't look bad at all. I would paint the windshield trim first.
