Should I part out my Spec7 racecar or sell it as is?

I purchased a 1983 Mazda RX7 Spec7 racecar with a full welded roll cage, large Kirkey race seat, back brace, Pyrotect 5 point quick release cam harness, Momo steering wheel, and a bunch of odds and end parts and wheel sets with a 2002 Texas Bragg custom car hauler / trailer for $4,000 less than 3 months ago.

Spent $300 to have my mechanic go over the car and tighten up the suspension and chassis bolts, changed out the front brake pads to Hawk HP Plus and rear pads to Hawk Blue, resurfaced the front rotors and replaced the right rear caliper with a new rebuilt one.

Just went to Thunderhill on 3/27 and made 7 sessions before I started having a problem with the tranny or rear end. Not sure which but all I know is I don't want to go through the problems to fix it.

So should I sell the car as is for $2,000 or $3,500 with the trailer or should I take my time and part everything out?
