I found this in a j-yard and am going to sell it... The shifter surround is all crappy looking (paint wise) and I feel it would look better if my buddies paint shop painted them back to charcoal.. My question is do you think I'll have better luck selling them if they are refreshed? It will turn out great I know.... I am selling them for $65 shipped...the painting will cost nothing...This guy is a buddy of mine...

I am attaching the original and then the last set I had done....

Not worth it and it might not go with the buyer's vechicle. It wouldn't go with mine!

Congrads on the election! I'm from canada and I would vote for bush if I could!

I would have it painted the factory color, so it would look original.....

You don't have any idea how bad I'd like to get my hands on a stereo surround with a working ashtray like that..... My stereo surround is broken, and my ashtray doesn't flip in and out right anymore...

If you'll pay a few bucks plus the shipping on it Glazedham I'll keep my eyes open. I frequently have the opportunity to pick them up at the yard... In fact I may have one with my parts car (out of town)... I'll check next time if I think of it.

If you have the dark gray interior, I think black looks good. Goes with the shift boot and steering wheel trim.

How much is a few bucks? I'd be willing to pay for one as long as its not some ridiculous amount. I'm just looking for a crack free stereo surround for my 85 GS with a working ashtray. I'm not worried about the paint being any good. I'm going to be painting it no matter what anyway. So if you can find me a reasonably priced crack free surround, with a working ashtray I'm all over it. Let me know. THx

P.S. Sorry for conducting business in your thread RRTEC....
