Should I get this FB? (Really tiny pics inside)

I am thinking of getting an fb here locally and selling the fc for emission reasons. I was just wondering what the first gen section thinks of this car and the price.

I am ready to restore it. I was just going to see if anyone could see anything in the pictures that I wouldn't know to look for. He claims the compression is over 100 on both rotors and that the car will start and run it just needs tires. Price is $600.

Ha, I used to live in Lakeside Apartments in Newnan when I had my turbo FC. If it runs, I would get it--why not? $500 for a runing car that is not a rust bucket is a good deal.

Lol. I'm sure he'll take that well.

My sister babysits for a guy in those apts.

He hasn't called me back yet but I'm going to try and pick it up this weekend. I'd rather have a car that is emissions exempt instead of having to register my fc in AL. Speaking of that, if nothing else is removed, shouldn't an fc pass emissions with a functioning cat?

Drive it before you buy it. But everyone should own a 1st-gen.

Bet you that paint will clean up nicely. First gen paint seems to be very hardy. Especially S3 models.

Where are good places to check for rust and are there any other problems I should look for?
