A guy wants to trade me a Honda Civic 92 DX hatchback,

i know we're not fans Honda, BUT i swear the cars clean.
I have another rx7 that im building.

Need a good mpg DD?
Weigh your options; you have one, but i assume you love them like kids. RX-7 gets meh MPG. Hondah gets pretty super MPG. Reliable, much like the 12A. Could be your beater.

dude take the honda i mean why not if u have another rx then get a beater like i bought an 86 chrysler laser while the motor for the 85 came....if that isnt a pos i dont know what is the honda is reliable so you dont have to spend alot of money fixing it up so u have more money for the seven
less money on beater= more money on the fun car= one happy guy

Enthusiastic car people may talk negative in jest, but they are all fun machines.
While I am anti-FWD, all Hondas aren't that bad. Alot has to do with the owners. Some are very imature and think that with a big exhaust and a cone filter there the badest things on the road. On the other hand, my friend at MTSU has a Del Sol that puts out over 300hp at the wheels with a built turbo motor. Plus, you'll be sharing the joys of RX-7 ownership with the guy you're trading it to.
i think hondas can be built to be bad *** machines but its a DX and if i remember corectly only the EX, Si and Type R models come with vtec. a honda without vtec is like a man without a *****. haha. i could be wrong if anyone wants to correct me. anyways, has he done a motor swap to get vtec in his Civc? or is it a clean stock car?

unless its a B series motor v-tec is worthless, D series at best make 130hp. but all in all, hondas are good reliable cars(i just like to give all my honda buddies ****). My friend has an 11 sec '92 civic hatch that looks bone stock other than the wheels (15"rota J-mags), definate sleeper. for right around $8k invested (including buying the car), it has a mildly built turbo GS-R swap(makes a conservative 362whp@12psi), hondata, and full tein suspnsion.

I had an 88 Civic DX. D16 motor. It was a fun little car. Nowhere near my 7, but until the O2 sensor went, it ran great. good mileage. There's nothing wrong with Honda's, just the morons that put 10K worth of body and audio mods and then cut the springs and say it's modified. But if your 7 that your going to keep is the one you really want, then go for the trade. If the 80 is more valuable to you then keep it.
lol vtec would be better in a muscle car i mean really lol its kool that the valve timing will change thats like going from a stock port to a street port at 4500 rpm its efficient...but i still hate honda
