i've been told by many people that an fc tailshaft is the same as a first gen tailshaft on the trannies therefore i can use an s4/s5 short shifter in my s2 tranny. any truth to this? and what about a miata one? thanks.

miata one works and fits fine.
i dont know about the fc ones.
