Shocks installed...very bumpy....Help...

Hey

Put new blue tokiko's front and rear.......
Car rides very stiff........rear end is sagging to the drivers side?

Is this a sign that I need spring help?

I knew that the car would be a little stiff....but it bounces on the freeway ....corners like hell.....

If I do need springs..what do you recommend....

Thanks

Jim

Bouncing meaning it's bobbing up and down like worn shocks, or it's just so stiff that the suspension isn't moving?

If it's the first one, something's wrong. If it's the latter, welcome to stiff suspensions. Even the OE replacements are rather stiff.

If the car is sagging, the springs are worn out. It could be bottoming out, but I doubt it. New lowering springs will probably raise it up a bit as well as make the springs stiffer which is more in line with what the shocks were designed for, of course this will make the ride even worse.

Go break-in the new shocks in by off-roading (j/k)

If you're using cut springs like you said in the Tokico thread... your ride sucks because you're riding on the bump stops. In fact, the bump stops are probably gone by now.

So when you replace the springs with ones that allow actual suspension travel, put in new shocks and struts to replace the ones you destroyed by bottoming out
