Shocks 85-GSL-SE

Hey

Was told I need shocks...I want to keep my ride stock...... and comfortable...is there any other aftermarket shocks that will do this?

KYB shocks are pretty comfy (for an Rx-7)

Tokico Illumina 5 way adjustables or Tokico Blues
You might want to replace the springs too. (Eibach)

I have the Tokico blues and Eibach pro-kit springs and the ride is anything but comfy.

Well then get the adjustables and set it to "1".

Agreed. I have the adjustables and Eibach pros.

Also, I had the front 2 blow out after a very short life span but was in no position to remove the shock myself or pay to have it removed. The settings were fun but basically consisted of stiff and stiffer labeled 1-5. I liked it. With the sways, the car DID NOT lean so it felt.

Miata board belief is Koni adjustables on full soft are softer than stock and you can go from there so they might work out for your RX7. Have to check the application guide. Also, tokico I hear now has a lifetime guarantee on the shocks but that will not include install/removal.

yeah ... the koni's are good, too if you like a softer ride. the tokico's are more performance oriented. i mean, for me, personally, i have a high tolerance for what i would consider "hard", so i prefer the tokico's, but since jimtesla said, soft ... i recommended the kyb's or koni's.

any others out there?
