Could be a crack in the intake mani, or the mani to engine gasket. Holley throttle shafts wear out over time and leak pretty bad too.

Can you take pics of everything and send it to me? I might be able to tell you more then.

Its gonna have to be later like 11 cuz thats when I get off. But the throttle shaft does seem to have some play but I woukdnt think it would be from that. Would a video of it running and how it acts be better?

Iv'e been having issues with mine and I found that I had slightly overtightened the the arm you connect the throttle cable to,causing an intermittent bind, I also found a vacuum leak under the 2nd rotor and have ordered a new gasket and new orings from atkins... I'm gonna try re torquing the bolts and see if it helps my situation, and after that I'm gonna pull it off and check both the engine and the manifold with straightedge and my also end up copper coating the gasket...

on a side note, the holley videos show a capped vacuum port under the secondary bowl that holley says is manifold vacuum so you may be able to use the brake booster port to tune it but I'm not sure seeing as this is the first and only carb'ed vehicle I own... But anyways, holley says if for some reason you can't use vacuum use RPM which a 100 dollar time light should be able to do...

That port is there for crank case ventilation, as an alternative to a charcoal canister. Its an old way of thinking, but is effective. RB 465's do not have this port.

I've done some reading about it and it seems that although that port is missing, you can use a vacuum gauge on the brake booster port for tuning which should make it easier...
