I have just installed my Carter fuel pump and my freshly cleaned and sealed gas tank and went to turn the key and.... she fired right up. The car still won't idel and was kinda giving off white smoke near the base of the carb, but it ran which is huge improvement. I am hoping that the smoke is from bad o-ring in the intake manifold and that is my next project along with new rad hoses and thermostat, but I just wanted to share my happiness at my now(partially) running fb.


P.S. Does anyone know where to get molded heater hoses?

 

i replaced some on an FB, i used regular coolant hoses and for any molded parts that bent i use an angle connector, less expensive and can all be found at autozone.
