setting up turbo efi fuel system. need help

Okay,
got the rails
got the injectors
got the regulator
got all the an lines and fitting and a filter.

now for the pump, I have been looking at bosch and walbro.

but, there all intank pumps,

I have the stock tank in my 82 right now but Im going to install a SE tank when I find one.

anyhoo, could this pump be made to work externally, maybe if a low pressure carb pump was before it.

What rails? Stock? Are you planning to weld AN fittings to them? If so double check, because some don't take welding too well.

Nice thing about his externals (walbro's) is that you can also order damn near any type of inlet/outlets you want on them.

If I were to do it all over again I'd do a surge tank set up.

i dont beleive a surge tank is necessary in my application.

I am not putting down huge power, this is a daily driver.

I modeled my setup exactly the one on fc3s-pro.com

http://fc3s-pro.com/TECH/MODS/FUEL/prail.jpg

I have this setup exactly,

glsse injectors primary, 1600 secondary rails with bosch injectors.

all I need is a pump.

speaking of pumps ... I'm gonna go ahead and go a bit off topic here :p

can the stock gsl-se fuel pump deliver enough fuel to run a 75 wet shot along with close to maxxing the stock injectors?

k back on topic...

The only reason I would do a surge tank is to eliminate the possibility of the engine being starved of fuel. I would just hate to see what happens when your at 15psi full throttle and your fuel pump takes a gulp of air due to your tank being 1/4 full while your taking a sharp turn I'm just throwing out the idea thats all. But the way you have the fuel lines run to the rails is probably the best way. If I make my own rails I'll do the same.
