sensor help???????

Hi, i have been working on pulling a 13b out of a 84 rx-7 to transplant to another. well during the removal i broke the wires connected to this senor. its the one circled in yellow. i found this picture but this sensor is not labeled. help if you can. Thanks Jake

If that's what I think it is, looks like intake air temperature sensor.

thx i was thinking something along those lines 2. The questions is.... are they expensive? and are they required?

Check with Mazda for the pricing, I don't think anyone else carries them. They control pressure valve and BAC, so I imagine without them the car would idle poorly or maybe won't even run at all, not sure.

the stock iats is required. if you need a replacement, post a want to buy ad in the 1st gen for sale/wanted section. purchasing one new from mazda will likely cost a TON of money..
