im planing on doing a semi peripheral port on my 12a engine ,but my question is if with a semi peripheral port i can still use my weber 48 ida throttle body and dont have to modify anything on my intake....

 

With a semi pp you obviously need to have the intake manifold custom made so it feeds both the p-ports and existing side ports. I've also heard of people running a seperate carb and manifold for the pp's and side ports.

Seems like a whole lot of trouble to go to for debatable gains. So why not just do a full peripheral port?
