me engine seems to be a little rough around 6000 to 7000 rpms when i am accelorating. i dont know if this is a sign of anything, or could it be cuz my carb is out of tune? i was just wondering if it is anything i should be worried about?

test your leading ignitor. Mine blew reciently and I can tell you that it ran quite rough at 6-7k.

yeah, i'd say spend some time strengthening the fuel and ignition systems. you've already mentioned that your pump is crap. how new are the other parts of both systems? (fuel filter, ignition wires, cap, rotor, coils, etc.)

the filter is about 1 1/2 months old, and i dont nkow how old the pump is, or the cap or the rotor or the coils, and the wires about about 2 months old. i guess ill just have to spend a little cash on some other **** now. no big deal though, little money here and there on the rex never hurt anyone.
