the secret for passing inspection!!!

1.take your car deep into the city
2.find the most rundown shop you can
3.ask them to inspect it.

I failed about 2 months ago when i took my car to a place called S&L. mainly i needed..
-gas recirculation
-rats nest back in
-air injection
-repair exhaust leaks
-postive crankcase
-evaporative emissions

then i fixed a few small things like my reverse light, replaced a dry-rotted hose, put the rats nest back in but didint hook anything up, and made it look like i had gas recircualtion.

I took it deep into the ghetto of baltimore and found an "Authorized Inspection Station".
The main mechanic put it up, poked around for about 2 minutes, lowered it back down, popped the hood, stared blankly the engine bay, checked my battery tie-down, closed the hood, asked me if it was supposed to have air injection, I said "no.", then he said well your gonna need rubber hangers for your muffler and your battery tie-down should be tightened.

It was glorious. I almost started to laugh. I will do both those things tommorow morning and THEN IM DONE!!!!!

I have yet to find a place like that in ATL. But i did find a guy when i was driving my 98 van that rest set the computer for me and told me to come back tomorrow. came back and he passed me. my Rex passes ATL emissions with flying colors. well below the max. yeah. and in 2 more years i will not have to have it inxpected again.

I love not having emissions testing here. Small town Texas is great. Neither of my cars would pass if we had it.

Ask someone at your place of employment where did they take their POS to pass. Also hang your company ID card in a conspicious place so that the mechanic knows that you are not working for the state government. Also dress like you don't work for the state govt. If you have to write down where you live, make sure it is within a mile or so from their shop.

No emissions , if you register the car in a small rural community in Pa, Tex, or San Antoniio.

Or register it in Alabama to completely avoid inspections.
