Secondaries open 5 degrees
So I reseated the teeter-totter and it sure feels like my secondaries don't open at all. Still running on the vacuum box, so I tried removing the spring which made a small difference as measured by my butt dyno.
With the engine off, when I reach my finger underneath the vacuum box to move the secondary link, it only moves enough to open them like 5 degrees. Any idea why this is happening? If I can't move it with my finger, with the engine off, there's no way in hell it's working while the car is running. Help appreciated

Butt dynos in my opinion are the most accurate and affordable dyno one could ever possibly own...
I would think that it would be easier to move with vacuum from the engine running, have you tried pulling it to rev the engine from an idle?

I am thinking that with if you are trying to open the secs manually then you have to hold the throttle wide open while moving the lever that makes them move. I'm pretty sure that the linkage configuration wont let secs open very much unless the throttle is more than half. Its been a while since I messed with it but Im thinking that is correct.
Oh good point on that IanS. Will check that while holding throttle open (waking the neighbours) but this leaves the sad possibility that I am already enjoying the full strength of my engine, which is disappointing... time to look for a tII swap
