well i reda something on mechanical secondaries today so i figured id check mine to see if they worked and what do you know they dont.when my brother revved the engine in neutral they didnt open nor did they pump any gas out of the tubes .does anyone have any ideas why gas isnt coming out of them.could that be vacum controlled too.thanks in advance

 

I have the same problem. My secondaries apparently havent opened in a long time since they were stuck closed. I am gonna swap carbs to see if that fixes my acceleration problems. If it does, then its rebuild time. Most likely needs a good rebuild to get everything cleaned and working properly. Your jets may be clogged. I am sure that it wouldnt take much dirt to get jammed in there and cause them to not spray correctly.
