Second Gen Subframe 12at

I've located a owner of 2 second gen's, one has been rolled and the other has a blown engine. He wants to put the rolled engine into the non-rolled 7.

I talked to the guy and he'll let me buy his sub-frame and goodies he's not using for cheap. It is an s4 with the 4 bolt pattern. I believe this is 4X114.3 which is the same as the GSL-SE rear bolt pattern. If the frame isn't bent, I'm planning on using all the front brakes, spindles, rack n pinion, and suspension on that frame in my 84'. I'd be able to keep a consistent wheel pattern if i got an -SE rear?

I also know i will need to construct a way of connecting the steering column to the rack. The brakes will need to be connected, and I'm not sure about the strut tops of the FC suspension into the FB body. I have a write up on doing this, but they leave off at just fitting the sub-frame into the body. What other little mysteries might come up that you all may forsee?

I also have a 12at motor that i plan on putting in. It has the motor mounts on the side like a 2nd gen. I'm assuming this will bolt right into the sub-frame, but my question is will it affecting the position of the shifter in the car?

I'm looking for constructive criticism/ideas from you all and I am able to engineer and fabricate what i will need for this project.

On one other side note I am also planning on buying the oil cooler from the FC if it isn't damaged sence there is no cooler on my 12at.

Thanks!
