30 each? g'dang. the seats i am lookin' at buying weigh 32 shipped, so i'm assuming they each weigh 14 - 15 pounds. that's also counting the seat rails they come with i wont be using. lol.

I'll find out the exact weight after i get them :p the set I'm looking at doesn't seem like they'll be too uncomfortable, they don't have the insane lip on the sides that stops your butt from moving at all. just a small one that hinders movement :p

I'm mostly getting them because it'll lower where i sit, which is my ultimate goal.going for the most legroom possible.

Weight?

If you're a good enough driver to notice the extra weight, you're good enough to make up for it...

Unless it's an autocross car, get something comfy!

ah ha, I've been in a few seats like this and I like them. the weight factor isn't so much what I'm after - i just do what i like to the car and if it happens to drop a few pounds I'm happy.

besides...my stock leather seats are terrible. they have two sets of seat covers on them so you cant feel the massive rips....

It's not an autocross car.....yet. it will be after i buy an FD.

In the next few days, I will be removing 3rd gen leather seats from my car and installing cloth 2nd gen seats. I'll try to get weights on those too, so we can have all information in one thread...
