Question The search for a gas tank

Hey everyone, I'm searching for a fuel tank for a 1984 RX-7 gsl. A friend of mine already posted a thread about this and I checked out Mazdatrix as I was told but thier price is a bit steep at $360 (especially as the car was $1000). Does anyone know of another place to find gas tanks or find a good deal one? Any help would be greatly appreciated, and, as always, no rotor, no motor

Thanks, Alexi

try searching here: http://www.valuparts.com/

But the problem with car recyclers is that they usually remove the gas tank and leave them by the side of the car. All the ones I've seen are pretty rusted.

I have one from an 1979-1980.

It's in good shape, but it's a little smaller than the later models. I used some styrofoam blocks to make it fit.

I'm down in Springfield, MO and I have one.

Might be able to haul it to the scenic drive Sunday the 21st http://home.mchsi.com/SpRX-7 if you would come and get it. $40 sound like a fair price?
