-se tranny in a 80

I just installed a -se tranny in my 80. Has anyone here done it? Do i have to make a new shifter surround, mine don't fit with new shifter location..

Thanks, Gonzz

As per you PM, I have done it, not with a SE tranny, but the principle is the same... You had to cut the floor out right? You will need some rubber mat, I got mine from the local rubber place. And then I swapped my dash to the 83 style, I changed the metal structure too, cause the SA one wont work with the new lower parts the top fits fine, but the lower especially around the radio wont work

Its not that bad, actually it was pretty easy, easier than the tranny swap
