Question -SE pressure regulator

I'm trying an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on the 13b. It is an Rperformance with built in gauge. I got it for free and it has never been used. I ran a braided lint to the fuel rail using a -6an to 12mm fitting...everything hooked up nicely. i was going to set it and make sure everything worked right but my car wouldn't start. I tought it was the starter. I pulled it off and tested it. Everything worked fine...spun nicely. I put it back on the car and it only clicked. I can turn the engine over by hand so it hasn't seized up. The battery has good voltage. What does everyone think about the problem? Is it the starter or something in the wiring, or who knows what? Thanks for any help.

I don't think the pressure regulator has an adjustment. What is you car doing wrong?

It's probably your starter. It's engaging the flywheel but not turning. Are you sure you didn't mistakenly disconnected the connector to the starter?

the new regulator i have is adjustable...i put it on b/c the old one was bad. I was going to try it out but the starter failed...everything is hooked up right but i'll check everything again tomorrow before i take it off... a starter is only$90 anyway but i would rather not spend it...Thanks

Check you battery cables. Either there is no power getting to the starter or the starter is toast.
