-SE motor into 12A chassis, minor questions

Ok, so it looks like I'm getting a GSL-SE motor here, fairly soon... and just a couple quick questions.

I already have a FMOC from a 79, and brand new lines... will these still work on the GSL-SE motor? They worked fine on my 12A, but not sure if there's any differences.

I obviously need to upgrade my fuel pump (seeing as there isn't one on the car AT ALL), will a stock -SE pump work fine for it? Also, will I need to swap out the hard fuel lines, I figured the soft ones, but what about the hard ones?

Wiring harness and ecu stuff... Never dealt with FI before, so is this a plug and play swap, or am I looking at the better part of a weekend to do this? I can do a motor swap in 2-3 hours, but that usually with a carb... this is a new ballgame for me.

I think that's it.

Don't waste your time with the EFI - and put a carb in it.

The SE oil lines are longer, I've noticed.. Not sure what the mount differences are, though.

The oil cooler lines should be fine since you are not moving the FMOC or anything. As far as the EFI goes, you may want to take a look at this thread.

https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/se-13-b-engine-wont-start-after-swap-pics-421985/

I am currently helping Paradox do the same swap. Since I can't physically be there, it makes it a lot harder to help effectively. If you want the EFI, you need to be sure to get the full engine harness (injectors, sensors, emissions, etc.) as well as the front harness (runs under the dash, goes to coils, relays, etc. in engine bay). Most of the connectors are brittle, so there usually break during removal. So you may need to replace/repair connectors. If you get everything that you need (say if you had an SE parts car to work with), you could probably pull it off in a weekend. But, if you are missing parts lke Paradox (he is missing the front harness), it will take quite a bit longer to figure out. Carb would be the easiest as DF mentioned. If you want EFI, you may be better off going directly to stand alone.

ok, then this brings up my next question...

anybody got a carb and intake for CHEAP? Also, I need a RB Road Race header for a 6port 13B as well.... all I have is a 12A one, and I'm NOT getting rid of my SP exhaust.
