(SE) How do I separate the Dynamic chamber and upper intake??

So I am in the process of cleaning and rebuilding my intake, et. al. What a job. So, I was trying to separate the upper intake runners from the Dynamic chamber (the box with RE-EGI on it) so I could soak em in some degreaser and get em all cleaned up. I removed the three bolts and two nuts which hold them together, but they are still very much stuck!

I tried hitting the intake with a rubber mallet but didn't want to bang tooo hard, so I quit and thought I would query the forum.

So, do theset things tend to stick? Hit harder?

Right on.

I guess I have some serious carbon in there holding them together...I'll pull harder tonight.

Right on.
