Se had a minor stroke yesterday

Ok well let me start by saying that my friend discovered that everyone of the fuses in the fuse box under the dash was the wrong amperage... for ex they had a 30 amp fues in my cig lighter.... anyway after getting that straightened out I took it apon myself to figure out what the problem with my idle was... after following the directions to a T everything went well untill the next day and after that when I would start the car and drive it for a while it would idle at around 200 rpm and shake violently, after testing all the parts upfront I found that the tps was totally gone, and the engine would run perfect with it disconnected, as soon as the tps is connected the idle immediatly drops to 200-300 and sputters. To make sure that it was indeed bad and not misadjusted I tested the tps for resistance 1-5 oahms (spellingsry) and it read 1 or open circut, so do you think that putting a tps on the car will solve my problem, keeping in mind that I will of course re-adjust everything once I get the part? Truthfully the car runs well w/o a tps at all lol its just a little slow to react, or do you think that just by odd chance everything else is misadjusted to the point that the car runs well w/o the tps lol knowing my luck that is going to be how it ends up.
