Dunno on -SE, but I put cruise off another 85 onto mine, in about 30 minutes. All the connectors are there, just change the lever on the column. Pop the cap off the dash install switch, remove driver's storage bin plug and mount box. And install actuator under the hood , hook up cable to carb. Easy as hell, and theres NO WIRING. Everything is THERE!

my 80 had power mirrors (wish i still had those on my 79). i think power windows were offered that year too, but i am not sure..
it is possible that my cruse control was just a dealer option type thing.. still it would be nice to have

Yeah your right I remember seeing the prewiring for power mirrors on my 80...
Oooops forgot to say that I put a cruise off an 85 to my 85 that didnt have it... I forgot to say that...
