scooped, you be the judge
Sexy man. I love the scoop. But then again, I'm not one to be a stickler to keeping it as it was off the showroom floor.
Its awesome, keep it. What other first gen has a scoop coming out of the hood? The offset on the passenger side just makes it more badass. Beautiful indeed.

not my taste at all. it ruins the look of the car. if it doesnt have a setup that needs the scoop with butterflies then dont rice it up with fake crap. if it does well then thats a differnet story... some modification may be needed to make everything functional. though still not for me.

The future holds a turbo, a twincharging effort, at that point the scoop will go. In the meantime, i need the fresh air, and it sure turns heads so i like it. The only additional plans for this year is a mild shot of nitrous. I need a new steering box, if the next doesn't work out than I may save up for the rack & pinion conversion.

I love the car with the scoop. The whale tail spoiler stands out, so there's no point trying to go low key now. You just need an airdam as mentioned to round out the street monster look and you'll be set.
Definitly go with the R&P kit. dj55b has one on his car and it is a huge improvement over the stock system. I just wish I was able to hold onto money long enough to get one.

Got the plumbing done for the nitrous, picked a bottle location, just gotta hook up fuel and electronics over the next few days. Planning on wiring an activation switch and a trigger button. I really don't trust a full throttle switch.

Yes you can, the butterflies open on acceleration, plus there is an opening in front and in behind the air filter for drainage. It's not a daily driver though, only sees rain by accident maybe twice a year.

It would be funky to say the least.
