Talking Santa Delivers

As he rowed through the gears,
Then flashed his driving lights....

Merry Chirstmas to y'all,
And may yuh have a really fine night!

A wave of the 'ol Stetson,
Denny, from the abandoned corncrib...

Wink

Bein' that this is farm/ranch country there used to be a number of old corncribs dotting the area. I suppose you know what a corncrib is? The property upon which we reside had been abandoned, and was about to be forclosed upon when we made our offer....That was back in '83. Suffice to say the property was cheap, but needed some work done. At that time I was a Prosecutor's Investigator for Franklin County, Columbus, Ohio to those not knowledgable. Those times when others would ask as to my residence I would state that I "lived out where the cows have beards," referring to the small Amish population that is part of our community. My Partner would then follow up by saying, "Yeah, in an abandoned corncrib..." In that he'd been out to my place and helped some in the restoration...

Santa brought me a book...Mazda RX-7 Performance Handbook, by Mr. Mike Ancas. I was both surprised and pleased to see that our own Mark Halama, or Max7 to us at the Forum, has two pictures in the book. One is of his very impressive custom intake, the other in regards to his weight saving spare arrangement.....Max/Mark, I'm proud to have you as my friend, nice work. Hope you got a free copy of the book!

A tip of the 'ol Stetson,
Denny, from the conrncrib...
