safely unhooking gauge cluster

im about to go outside and take out the gauge cluster out of my 84 GSLSE. i have eberything done and the gauge hanging down. all i have left to remove are the big connectors that i think go to the speedometer and tachometer. i want to remove them without damaging anything so i figured id ask how to just to be on the safe side. thanks.

There is a little part one those round connectors that you push down (inward). Just push down that tab and pull on the connector. They should slide right off.
