Is the guy who bought it on the forum?
It always helps a little if you know your car is in good hands, and even more when you can PM the guy once in a while and ask how it's doing...
Or am I just obsessive? Well I guess that's why I'm not planning to sell my car... EVER....

yeah i was grumpy for like a week after i sold my '83 gsl. it took less than a month to stumble across a '84 gsl-se to replace her tho. and to think, i wasn't going to buy another rx7

it's all good tho i sold it to a forum member.

It is tough to losse any old friend weather it be a car or a person, or a pet, or realy anything speical to you. But some times situations dictate that it must be done.
I found that It healped a great deal when I sold my "85 GSL that I already had my '84 GSL in 10x the shape of the other one

I'm a WUSS.
I cried when I found a good parts car for my 79 RX..my boyfriend thought i was nuts. I dont think I'll ever be handing over my title to anyone.
I am only owner and she remembers me when I was in my early twenties single and hot! Now we are both working on being refurbished classics.
Too many memories and sentimental attachment.

....how old are you now? Man I feel like the young guy. I'm trying to make my gsl se really nice get a lot of the stuff working again, change **** around. And I'm only 19. The girl I bought my car off of didn't sound sad at all. She was probably happy cause the car gets horrible gas mileage, but oh well. Gotta Live with what ya go. GO FAST!
Thanks for your post, KC - I guess it's not just me.
My 80LS (my first car back in 1985) is still sitting in my garage, on jackstands, next to my 84SE (in my signature line). Both cars mean a lot to me, the black 80LS was my daily driver in highschool (I'm 31 now), and the yellow car was the vehicle I took my driving test in.
Either one would be very hard to sell, even to a fellow enthusiast.
It's not just me, then.

I will never sell my 7. NOTHING will ever make me sell it. I have put too much work and money into it. I don't even like to think of the day I sell my 7 (which will never come, since I will never sell it).
BTW, I'm only 18 (actually only 17 untill the 15th).

I'm 24, I've had the car since I was 15. 58k miles, 3 engines, lots of busted knuckles and late nights in the garage. Driving from the roof, 540's at 85 mph, the first time I drove it around the block and broke the back end loose in the rain. Man I thought that I had one powerful car
I can't really wait till the first time I drive my car. I have had it for nearly 7 months and it just moved out of the garage for the first time just this weekend. About another week and I think it will be ready for the first drive. I can't wait!

I missed my first seven after I sold it. It was a complete disaster, the front end needed a total rebuild, the suspension was totally sagged and it was well along in the storage bin rust department. The '79 GS that replaced it was superior in every way: less miles, tighter steering box, better body, etc.
That '81 GS was my first car though. That's always tough to let go of, even when you're still driving a 7.

i want to get rid of my first 7, its too hard to keep two up and going, even though i have never had any problems with my first 7 (all stock). My second 7 is my big project car and i need to put all my time in it. plus my GS (my first 7) takes up garage room where i could be parking my truck (daily Driver). So if you guys miss your sevens soo bad buy mine
I will probably never have another 7, with the exception of a parts car. I can't see parking my car for any reason. If rust starts to take its toll again (I fixed it ALL, even some VERY bad storage bin rust), I will just fix it again. I love my car too much to let it go. Too many good memories, even while fixing it.

I was sad to see all my old Rex's go...
One guy wrecked an '82 he bought from me on his way home!
I told my family I'd sell the '85 to pay for the '91, but they didn't want to hear me **** and moan about it for the rest of their lives and wouldn't let me
Turned out to be a wise choice

Yeah that was my car. So you know where I live now. Its the only black 7 with red pinstripes on it around here (I think). I have the winter rims and snow tires on it right now, because those are the only tires I have. The stock rims (+ style) are getting repainted right now. You can see them on my cardomain site.
