so i’ve run into another problem with my suspension refresh. looks like i have a crack in the top strut mount. i order a replacement pair from atkins rotary but it looks like it’s for 81 and up. the SA mounts are keyed and no one seams to have them.
working on a 1979 rx7 all stock…installing KYB excel-g on the front (only option available) with the stock springs.
what are my options? keep using the old top mounts? het some FB strut inserts and shim the house so i can use the new mount? get FB strut housing?

That’s weird cause I have a 1980 and my strut mounts bolted up fine to fb struts. I still have the SA mounts as I have switched suspension. Post a picture so we can see how bad they are and I’ll let you know if mine are any better.
