SA Brake shoe question
SA Brake shoe question
As I understand, no rear brake shoes available for SA, right?
I just removed drums, shoes ok except for one.. shoe pad fell off of the base.
i assume JB weld out of the question?
Any suggestions?

The brake shoes are available from the aftermarket as a set but not individually. It's also a good idea to buy a hardware kit as well. The last series I bought was from Advance Auto Parts but I have purchased a set from Napa as Mazda no longer offered what I was after.
The brake drums are NLA from Mazda. There was a buyer beware thread a few months back about some aftermarket drums that had an excessive amount of runout when mounted. Shoes are still pretty easy to get.
When trying to add the 1979 drums to my rockauto cart, it displays this message "RAYBESTOS Part # 9526R is not currently available and has been removed from your shopping cart". I've tried many times over the last few years with the same results.
