The good ol transmission in the GSL-SE has gone kaput on me, a fellow club member has graciously offered to sell me a spare S5 transmission he has. I've been doing a little searching, and it seems that a second gen transmission will bolt right up to the GSL-SE with no problems, you just have to swap the tail housings and the shifters. Is this correct? I need to have no surprises on this, I will probably have a friend of mine (pro mechanic, but doesn't know RX-7's) swap the transmissions for me, so I need to have everything I need ready to go when I give it to him.

Anything else I should do while the transmission is out?
