S4 intake and ecu questions.

I have been searching thru many threads and still havent been able to come up with a good answer so i decided to just go ahead and make a new thread.

I have a 85' GSL-SE...im soon doing the s4 intake swap but was wondering what all i would need to run the s4 ecu and be able to actually run the extra injectors? I know some wiring is going to be involved but what all would that consist of?

This thread points out all the problems with the swap and the wiring needed to be done...but would it be worth changing from the s3 intake/ignition/fuel systems to the s4's?

I have an extra s4 engine for some parts and a whole s4 car (with engine) that is at my disposal.

Youll basically have to do a full S4 swap.
That means the S4 CAS instead of the distributor, the S4 AFM and other EFI sensors, and the associated wiring.Just look for S4 TII swap info, its about 99.9% the same work as doing an S4 N/A swap. Its not tough, but it does require some knowledge of EFI and the ability to do wiring. There will be slightly less work compared to other 1st gens, since you are starting with an SE.

Ok thanks for the help...

Would it be worth doing the full s4 swap?
