An RX7 God
Here is a photo you might get a kick out of: The rotary god of 1st gen RX7 IMSA racing w/ my Miata. I run into him a few times every year at Roebling Road (8 turn road course) at vintage races & exclusive car club meets. He always greets me w/ a kiss on the cheek & checks out my 7 & what I’ve done to it lately.
Can you name this god?

You are right Bern. Roger hasn't raced rotarys lately in the 24 hrs. But give some respect to one of the men behind the RX7's domination in class in IMSA racing during the 80s. Hell of a nice guy too. I have a framed Daytona Mazda poster in my office I will photograph & share.
BTW, where did you snap that one of Roger?

Nothing but respect for Roger. It's just that Grand-Am banned Rotary power from the Daytona 24hr a few years ago... hence my comment. And much love to all of my '70s and '80s Rotary racing heros, some which I've had the pleasure of meeting.

The snap of Roger came off the internet somewhere...
