If I recall he cut out a center section so that the width would be correct.

 

Thanks for all the post's it was very helpful. I found one on buytailights.com. I'm going to give it a shot and see how it comes out. I've done some bodywork in the past, but it's been awhile. My biggest problem is finding the time to work on it. I will post some pic's when it's done.

 

Similar to a Kamei front air dam, just a little different flare in my opinion. Someone needs to make more of the Kamei style dams, they're getting super hard to find lately.
