rx7 backseat question

rx7 backseat question

Is anyone familiar in removing the backseat seatbelts off 1st gen rx7 with backseats?

Well....

Actually, I at one point had this problem too. If you unscrew the bolt, it'll keep turning because theres a nut on the other end of it. I still don't know how to get to that nut?

isn't it illegal to have no seatbelts when it is registered as having them??? Just a thought.

Wouldn't it only be illegal if people were sitting there with no seat belt available?

I still don't know how to get the seat belts off. Does any one know how to get to the nuts that hold the bolts of the seatbelt harness? Yea, man I don't who would ever seat someone back there though.

I put one of my kids in the passenger seat with the seat fairly far forward, and the other behind her.

With my seat in "normal" position, there is no room behind me, but I have ridden in the back seat behind a 6'2" driver (going back a few years)...
