There have been 4wd first gens made, but they were all custom... In order to do the conversion, I suggest you have a machine shop on hand, as well as a welder and a plasma cutter. There's gonna be LOTS of stuff to fabricate.
What do you mean you stacked the car? Why did you do that?
my brain might work on a closer level to his, so i think he meant he wrecked his car and wants to drop the engine into a 4wd car.
i didnt think celica gt4's came to america, and even if they did im sure the engine is set up like a front wheel drive car. anyways, no, a project like that would require way too much work

Some people should learn to read between the lines. He says his car might be a write off, so he wants to take the engine and tranny out of it and put it into some sort of AWD vehicle.
As for it being easy, forget about it. Lots of fabrication would be needed, even if you put it in a Mazda 4x4 truck. I suggest you put it back into another RX-7. It'll be much easier and cost MUCH less.

I own a Mazda 4x4 truck. It runs a Turbo II transmission.

So, when are you gonna make the first(?) 4x4 B1300i-Turbo?

I could do this with a turbo, but then it'd have to spool down low and that ruins economy for when the truck isn't loaded and I don't need the power...
It'll still be called a B2600i I'm either gonna call it that based on it being a 13B, and rotaries are supposed to be rated at 2x their displacement... OR, it will genuinely be a 2.6L... ANd I think you know where I'd be going with that.

Hence the project will be put off until the stock engine blows... Which won't be soon because it's a fairly reliable engine.

Now, if it were the non-FI B2600, I'd say pull and trash it now

Well, if this were a carbed B2600, then the way I drive it, it woulda died LONG ago... (Running 3 qts low on oil, revving really high, etc.)
I'd like my own rotary version of what the Toyota guys do with their 22R/22RE pickup trucks. Lift it a couple inches, throw some 33 inchers on there. Maybe a winch... I've gotta find a roll bar that'll fit around my toolbox.
