A problem i noticed driving it home was the Top Speed and Acceleration i asked Atkins Rotary and the said in might be a Fuel Delivery problem? does anybody agree with them before i go and replace a whole bunch of stuff?

You'll need to be a bit more specific. But I can tell you this; Change the filter, plugs, cap & rotor, air & oil filters, and all fluids.
Crappy plugs can really make a difference in these cars.
Use low octane fuel.
Don't use synth oil in it because it burns oil on purpose, and synthetic oils may leave a residue.
You're first problem is most likely the fuel filter.
Second, after all is brought up to good, would be the cats being clogged up.
Good luck & welcome.

If the car has been sitting for a while, you may have crud built up in the jets (as happened to me). Follow the above advice, but if that doesn't fix it check into rebuilding the carb...
