Question temp. gauge question

For some reason my temperature gauge is staying at cold..sometimes when I fill it up with more antifreeze, itll stay inbetween cold and where it should normally be. Any suggestions on what it could be? preciate it.

there was a thread on this before and the guy found out his car didnt have a thermostat in it. so check that before you go chasing wires. may aswell just go buy a new one and replace it if you havent in awhile.

An old thermostat will sometimes get stuck in the open position. This is an easy replacement, so if you're unsure of how old the current stat is, you would be doing yourself a favor if you went ahead and changed it. Good luck...
