That's not a '79 - in 1979 Datsun went to the 280ZX, a vastly different car than the 280Z before it.

The one featured in the link is a 1972-1974 240z running a 280ZX fuel injected turbo inline 6 engine (instead of the 3 carb N/A inline 6 the car came with). He's also added the G-nose front end kit, typically seen in japan only (indeed modelled after the custom nose on one of Datsun's own archive cars)

For some reason the owner of this hybrid is labeling it a "1969 240Z turbo"; which is a nonexistant car.

 

240z's were from very late 1969 to 1973. There was no 240z after 1973. In 1974, it was a 260z, and in 1975, it was a 280z.
