Rx-7 FB for drift. Want your advice.

Hello. I'm from Russia, and I want to find a car for serious drift project. I can buy RX-7 FB 1982.
http://kaliningrad.drom.ru/mazda/rx-7/6491908.html
Is this car good for my project? I can't find any drift projects with FB.
Can I increase steering angle, is it difficult to do?
Where can I find performance parts for this car? Need coilovers, big brakes.
I have 2jz-gte engine about 600HP, will stock differential handle this power?

Please answer my question guys

if your going to do a swap then the FB is fine. you can get knuckles for the car somewhere (cant remember OTTOMH) re-speed.com or racing beat. has all the suspention parts and no the stock diff wont handle 600hp. you'd blow that **** up like a volcano. you will have to do fender cuting/ rolling if you want to run anything wider than 215 though it also depends on your offset.

Thank you for answer!
Fender rolling is not a problem. I can do custom widebody. What rear differential can I use? From what car for example?

I'm working on a similar project, but plan on pushing a lot less power. Here's a thread I made that has a decent tip on suspension spring rates and such.

You can't run coilovers in a first gen because the rear spring and shock are separate unfortunately, but I've heard you can talk to Billy from RE-Speed and he can give you specifics for the best set up for your car.

or you could do a bit of searching and find out that coilovers are possible front and rear : https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ight=coilovers

ford 8.8 will be great and should fit under the body reasonably well! just make sure you leave the stock suspension mounts on the body cuz some regulations wont allow it. but there was a guy here in atl that slid his fb with great success. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=JhUNM-mTU9E
