Hello guys, I don't know if many of you frequent the lounge, but a topic came up today of a club Calendar, and I have decided to make one. There seems to be a substantial interest for the members on the boards to have a calendar of our own rides, not something you get out of a local wal mart.

This thread is also going in the second and third gen areas of the board to cater to all owners of the 7, not just one generation in particular.

I am sending out a request for anyone around the world that would like their car to appear in the calendar. If you are interested in having your vehicle considered to be featured on its own month, gladly email me a picture of your vehicle at
Tyblat@gmail.com.

Before you go taking any photos or email any to me, please read the submission guidelines.

* Their will be 4 vehicles out of each generation that makes it into the calendar to keep it fair.

* Season pictures are encouraged! (Ex: If you have a nice picture of your turbo II near some fall scenery, please share it!)

*Condition: Please make sure your vehicle is up to par to be featured on a calendar. tips: If you have a car thats fantastic on 3 sides but that quarter panel has a nasty dent, try a different angle. Be creative! The best looking and creative pictures are the ones that stand to be noticed the most, thus get featured on the calendar!

pictures are preferred to be of exteriors only, however if the interior/engine picture is good enough it *MAY* be considered for addition

*File Submission Guidelines: Size limit is 3 megabytes per picture. If your vehicle makes a spot into the calendar I'll contact you by email and request the full high resolution picture.

Here is an outline I drew up.

12 month calendar for 2007

3 months per season. Pictures try to be in season with the months. (ex: an FC in a snowy backdrop would obviously be set for winter months.)

FB, FC, and FD's will be featured, and given 4 months per generation. The order of the generations wont all be in order from month to month. This is to provide a little bit of change from month to month


Calendar prices would probably run about 20 bucks.

SWEET!!! So what is the deadline for the picture submissions?? i would love for this to happen!! Anyone else in the first gen section up for it?

 

It's supposed to be nice here this weekend so maybe I'll try & get some pics taken. We have not done anything to ours so I doubt it will make it in to the calendar with all the beautiful paint jobs & mods out there but it would be fun.

 

I'm hoping to have the calendars ready for production in 2-3 weeks, It may be sooner, depending on how fast I can get the pictures in and send them off to print.

You may want to submit a higher resolution of that photo...otherwise, when it gets enlarged, it's going to look too pixelated and crappy.

 

Can you upload a higher resolution photo of that?

Also! All first gen owners! I've recieved enough second gen pictures to start the process, and Almost enough 3rd gen. We are still short a few first gen pictures!

Please send your photos of your first gens so you guys can get the spotlight you deserve!

Man, this calender is a great idea. I'm definitely down for one of these calenders.

I just wish at least one of my FB's looked good enough to post pictures up of for the calender. Marcello's definitely is, though, and it looks like mine!

I think you should start looking for more pictures for a 2008 calender as well mid-year or so for you to have the ability to definitely get enough pictures and calenders made before 2008 actually hits.

what's my orlando rotor heads???..this is Ken..the white guy with the black fb widebody...i wanna be in the calendar...but you'll have to waqit until my car's back from paint...just repaired all the fiberglass...replaced the seats and steering wheel...and got the carb tuned right....sending it back to the the painter in two weeks....geting resprayed jet black..and custom air-brushed graphics...i'm going to have him airbrush in some ghost graphics of rotors too...it's gonna be sooo f'ing pimp!!!!
